Abstract:  

With the development of economy and technology, the content and way of entertainment have changed a lot nowadays. This dissertation focuses on the creative work of Doujin, which is popular in the young persons, and tries to discover the basis of the work of Doujin, especially the base of society and culture. In addition, this paper explains the reason why entertainment is necessary and the role entertainment plays.

Being different from previous studies, this dissertation makes a breakthrough in the framework of theory and research methods. It is extremely interested in how do the youngs show their creativity and imagination, and then resist against the culture industry and the mainstream of culture with the help of creation of Doujin. Moreover, this dissertation discovers the complex relationship between the work of Doujin and society reality through studying in the field of technology, consumption, and circumstance. The dissertation suggests that the creative work of Doujin is formed by a brand new world outlook, which is closely related to digital images and visual perception. It treats world as a combination of different spaces without order and relationship between each other, as a result of this, the way of people reform this world has changed.
