The workshop “China and Japan: Cross-Border Exchange of Contemporary Culture” is held at Shanghai University, organized by Shanghai University’s Center for Contemporary Cultural Studies of China (CCCS), Waseda University’s Department of Chinese Literature, and Nankai University’s College of Liberal Arts. Over 30 scholars from these three universities attended the workshop.

Our department organized Chinese scholars to attend the conference, including Professor Zhang Xiaoxiao of Jinan University, Professor Gu Li of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and Professor Zhu Shanjie and doctoral student Wang Xinran from our department.
